Biography
I have Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Religious Studies and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Multimedia Writing and Technical Communication - all from from ASU. I am currently a PhD student in Technical Communication and Rhetoric at Texas Tech University and have just completed coursework.
My pertinent background began with graphic design/desktop publishing. I have held many other positions relevant to technical and multimedia communication, including titles, such as Managing Editor, Instructional Designer, and Quality Assurance Specialist. I am currently a Technical Writer for Go Daddy.
I have experience instructing in both a classroom and online setting and have been an adjunct faculty member of the Multimedia Writing and Technical Communicaiton program at Arizona State University Polytechnic Campus for five years.
My research interests include digital orality and new media (e.g. podcasting, Jott, Seesmic, etc.), ancient greek philosophy and rhetoric, social networking, and the social capital we create and exchange through these means.
My personal interests include music (many aspects to that interest), classic British motorcycles, fiction (reading and writing), select Manga, cooking and my wife and daughter who inspire, motivate, and amaze me, daily.
